Akiji Kobayashi started his acting career on the 1966 TBS series Ultra Q as he played Major Amano and 1966-67 Ultraman series as he played as Captain Toshio Muramatsu , it is followed by 1967-68 Ultraseven as he played as Sato, 1967 Drama series Operation: Mystery! as he played as Inspector Machida Okura, 1971-72 Return of Ultraman as he reprise his role as Captain Toshio Muramatsu , 1971-73 Kamen Rider as he played Tobei Tachibana, 1972-73 Ultraman Ace as he played as Akira Koyama, 1973-74 Kamen Rider V3 ,1974 Kamen Rider X, 1974-75 Kamen Rider Amazon and 1975 Kamen Rider Stronger . His last roles are 1996 movie Gamera 2: Attack of Legion and 1996 movie Ultraman Zearth before he passed away on August 30,1996 at the age of 65 years old due to lung cancer.
