The sixth Metal Hero series' 1987-88 Choujinki Metalder is based on 1972-73 Android Kikaider the second work of Shotaro Ishinimori after Kamen Rider that has the same cyborg motif.
The seventh Metal Hero series' 1988-89 Sekai Ninja Jiraiya is based on 1972-73 Henshin Ninja Arashi the work of Shotaro Ishinimori that has the same Ninja motif.
The eighth Metal Hero series' 1989-90 Kidou Keiji Jiban is based on 1973-74 Robot Detective or Robot Keiji the work of Shotaro Ishinimori that has the same detective and cyborg motif.
