Here's another Toku-Timeline as we featured previous Tokusatsu series and movies every year that start the thread and foundation of the current Tokusatsu. So lets take back to year 2001 !!!!:
Kamen Rider Agito is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from January,28,2001 to January,27,2002 with the total of 51 Episodes as it celebrates the 30th anniversary of Kamen Rider series as considered as indirect sequel of 2000-01 Kamen Rider Kuuga. The story takes place were Shouichi Tsugami lost his memory and resided on Misugi residence with Yoshihiko Misugi, Taichi Misugi and Mana Kazaya as he helps doing household chores, When the monsters Unknown who cause killings around the city, Shouichi Tsugami suddenly feels the unknown presence , go to the Unknown's activities and transform into Kamen Rider Agito to fight them. Aside from Shoichi/Kamen Rider Agito, the police has also their own Kamen Rider that will beat the unknown and it is Kamen Rider G3 used by Makoto Hikawa, and aside from the two the third hero Kamen Rider Gills which is the college swimmer Ryo Ashihara suddenly appears mysteriously like Kamen Rider Agito. Later this three unites to fight the Unknown and fight the Overlord.
Hakyujuu Sentai Gaoranger is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,18,2001 to February,10,2002 with the total of 51 Episodes as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of Super Sentai series and the first series to team-up with all Super Sentai teams from Himetsu Sentai Goranger to Mirai Sentai Timeranger compare to Super Sentai World which Ninja Sentai Kakuranger is only team -up with four teams' Fiveman, Jetman, Zyuranger and Dairanger, and Kosuku Sentai Turboranger first episode were they team-up with Battle Fever J, Denjiman, Sun Vulcan, Goggle V, Dynaman , Bioman, Changeman, Flashman, Maskman and Liveman. The story takes place way back millennium years ago were Ancient Gao Warriors fight the Orgs lead by Hyakkimaru until they defeated the Orgs with the help of Power Animals and seal them, after millennium years the Orgs broke from seal, and in order to stop their chaos on earth the new generation of Gaorangers appeared lead by Veterinarian Shihi Kakeru/Gaored, Air force pilot Gaku Washio/Gao Yellow, teenager Kai Sanezu/Gao Blue, florist Sotaro Ushigone/Gao Black and martial arts student Sae Taiga/Gaowhite, they add the new member Ogami Tsukumaro the Gao Warrior from Heian period who sealed as Duke Org Rouki and later become Gaosilver.
Ultraman Cosmos is aired on TBS every Saturdays from July, 7, 2001 to September, 28, 2002 with the total of 65 Episodes as it celebrates the 35th anniversary of Ultramana series and it is the Ultraman series with the longest running episodes. The story takes place were Musashi Haruno the member of Team EYES encounter the invasion of Chaos Header who corrupt evil on the monsters to destroy earth, in order to stop Chaos Header , Musashi Haruno transform into Ultraman Cosmos to save the earth and to restore peace between humans and monsters.
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack movie is premiered on Saturday December,15,2001 that has unique story compare to Showa and Heisei Godzilla movies.The story takes place were Yuri Tachibana creates a docudrama as she witness the earthquake and some phenomena related to the return of Godzilla and as Godzilla battles against Mothra and King Ghidorah. On the final scene Yuri and her friend Teruaki Takeda confront and defeat Godzilla with the help of D-03 missile.
