Mirai Sentai Timeranger is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,13,2000 to February,11,2001 with the total of 51 Episodes. Because this is the first year of the millennium, Toei will create a future or time travel themed Super Sentai series. The story takes place in the year 3000 were the Time Protection Department to certified the four new enlistee cadets' Yuri (Time Pink), Ayase (Time Blue), Domon (Time Yellow) and Sion (Time Green) to protect the earth against Time Crimes, however Don Dolnero together with his forces destroys the TPD and time travel in the year 2000 which is one thousand years ago. After the escape of Don Dolnero gang' to the past, the four cadets chased him on the time travel in year 2000 until they discovered the person from year 2000 which is the martial artist named Tatsuya (Time Red) to formed themselves into Mirai Sentai Timeranger to protect the different ages against Don Dolnero gangs' schemes in alternating the history due to their criminal activities .
Ultraman Neos is aired on Chibu Nippon Broadscasting Network from November 22, 2000 to January 28, 2001 with the total of 12 Episodes. The story takes place were the large cases of ESP activities and alien attacks happened on the first decade of the new millennium, so the Space Defense Force from the Nebula M-78 sends Ultraman Neos and Ultraseven 21 to protect Earth from this invasions and they are connected with Genki Kagura to guide the Hi-tech Earth Alert Rescue Team or HEART against this unexpected monsters.
Godzilla vs. Megaguirus movie is premiered on Saturday December ,16,2000. The story takes place in year 2001 when the Dimension Tide the satellite weapon that fires small black holes until accidentally summon a wormhole when a ancient giant dragonfly deposit a mysterious egg that becomes into Megaguirus, to stop the kaiju Godzilla returns to stop his attack on the planet and returns it to the wormhole.
