Magical Chinese Girl Pai Pai is aired on Fuji TV every Mondays from January,9,1989 to July,9,1989 Mondays with the total of 27 Episodes. It is the ninth and the shortest Toei Fushigi Series that follows by the next series Magical Chinese Girl Ipanema on the same year. The story takes place when PaiPai who came from Chinese Makai World and enters the Human World to explore everything until he fell in love with Raymond. PaiPai together with her friends from Human World team-up to explore some mysteries and fight some villains from her own world Chinese Makai World.
Kidou Keiji Jiban is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from January,29,1989 to January,28,1990 with the total of 52 Episodes . Detective Naoto Tamura is killed by a Bionoid Kaijin while doing his duty, until Dr. Kenzo Igarashi revives Naoto into cyborg called Kidou Keiji Jiban to fight against Bioron and his Kaijins. Naoto continues his duty as a detective despite being a cyborg in order to perish all Bionoid that threats the whole city.
Kosouku Sentai Turboranger is aired on TV Asahi every Saturdays from February,25,1989 to February ,23,1990 with the total of 51 Episodes. This series is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Super Sentai when Battle Fever J is considered the first series during that time until Himetsu Sentai Goranger and Jak Q Dengeki Tai is considered as the first ones in 1995. The fairy Seelon and Dr. Dazai choosed the five High School students Riki, Daichi, Yohei Shunsuke and Haruna to become Kousuku Sentai Turboranger to fight against teh invasion of revived Boma Hundred Tribe ruled by Emperor Ragorn. It is the first series to introduced car, high school, and sports motif, the first series who have secondary robot combined with 5 piece combined Turborobo, introduction of big base robot and the robot assistant, and the introduction of secondary villains.
Gunhed is premiered on Saturday July,22,1989 created by Toho. This movie is based on 2030's were Texmexium is the main source of energy all over the world that controls computers . In the next years Kyron-5 plans to exterminate the humans because of their capabilities being an A.I are enough for ruling the world and consumed all Texmexium for them,in order to stop them, Brooklyn and his group create a robot from Graveyard and create GUNHED to protect humans against Kyron-5' forces.
Magical Chinese Girl Ipanema is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from July,23,1989 to December 24 ,1989 with the total of 23 Episodes .It is the tenth Toei Fushigi series which is the same and the successor of Magical Chinese Girl Pai Pai. Ipanema is a millionaire's daughter from Chinese Makai World who is in crisis because of the bankruptcy and lose of her parents due , it is because of the villains behind their fall down, however Ipanema travels in the human world and disguised as a housekeeper in search for her parents and recover their family from the crisis she faced and fighting against villains.
Godzilla vs. Biolante is premiered on Saturday December,16,1989 created by Toho. After Godzilla attacks in Tokyo and prisoned him in Mount Mihara, after five years he is revived to stop and defeat the new villain Biollante the plant kaijin.
