Super Sentai for Decades #2



        Here's Super Sentai for Decades as we review all Super Sentai series aired per decade to identify its innovation for this franchise. So here's the Super Sentai series that aired on the third year of the decade which is the last digit of two:


     Dai Sentai Goggle V is aired on TV Asahi every Saturdays from February,6,1982 to January,29,1983 with the total of 50 episodes. This is the first Super Sentai series to used the starting line-up of Male Red Ranger, Male Black Ranger, Male Blue Ranger, Yellow Male Ranger and Pink Female Ranger, Second Super Sentai series to used the Goranger pose, first Super Sentai series to have a mecha piloted only by three Super Sentai members' Red ,Blue and Yellow, the first Super Sentai series having a Kaijin mecha and the last Super Sentai series using the scarf in the suit.


    Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger is aired on TV Asahi every Fridays from February,21,1992 to February,12,1993 with the total of 50 Episodes. This is the first Super Sentai series to have a legendary warrior motif, first series to combine their weapons into powerful Howling Cannon, first series to have sixth ranger named Dragon Ranger Burai and the first series to have a fully combined mecha.


     Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,17,2002 to February,9,2003 with the total of 51 Episodes. This the second Super Sentai series which is based on 1988-89 Tokusatsu series primetime such as Chojuu Sentai Liveman on the Trio Starting Line-ups, Academy based and Animal motif, and Seikai Ninja Jiraiya which is based in a Ninja Motif confronting different evil Ninjas who want to conquer the world. It is the first Super Sentai series to introduced the Sentai team in a different name called the Gouraigers which is composed of Kabutoraiger (Crimson) and Kuwagaraiger (Navy) who become the Jakanja allies at the start and later joined the Hurricangers. It is also the first Super Sentai series to introduced a Sixth Ranger Shurikenger on a trio turned five member Sentai team, Shurikenger doesn't have a real identity on the series because some of previous Super Sentai actors transformed into Shurikenger.



    Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,26,2012 to February,10,2013 with the total of 50 Episodes. This is the first Super Sentai series with a unique name as Busters instead of ranger or ger, first series to have multiple changing mecha of each Sentai member, first series to have robotic partner of each member, first series to have a robot named Beet J Stag changed into a ranger called Stag Buster and the first series to have a counterpart kaijins from the human sized Metaroid and its giant version Megazord.
