Super Sentai for Decades as we review each Super Sentai series aired in one
year and develops it on the next decade. So here's the #0 or the first year of
the decade review:
Denshi Sentai
Denjiman is aired on TV Asahi every Saturdays from February,2,1980 to
January,31,1981 that completed 51 Episodes. It is the first Super Sentai series
to featured a transforming mecha DaiDenjin, Talking dog as a main boss and the
Super Sentai powers came from other planet. It is the second series created by
both Marvel and Toei and second to have a primary mecha after Battle Fever J. And
the last is the second series to follow the starting color line-up from
975-1977 from Himetsu Sentai Goranger which is Red - Male, Green-Male,
Blue-Male, Yellow-Male, Pink- Female.
Chikyu Sentai
Fiveman is aired on TV Asahi every Fridays from March,2,1990 to February,8,1991
that completed 48 Episodes. It is the first Sibling and the School Teacher
Super Sentai Theme, the first Super Sentai series to introduced giant egg
monster as the dying kaijin of the week enlarger,the first introduced the
upgrade forms, first to introduced new opening and ending credits text which is
placed on the below right of the screen, and the first one to create a
combination between the three combining vehicles of Fiverobo and the new mecha
Five Star to become Super Five Robo.
Mirai Sentai
Timeranger is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,13,2000 to
February,11,2011 that completed 51 episodes. It is the first Super Sentai
series to introduced the Official Logo of Super Sentai,first Super Sentai group
by the future that lead by a guy from the present, first series to introduced
colored visors, First series to introduced another Red called Timefire as the
sixth member, First Super Sentai Mecha called Timerobo to have different modes
which is Alpha and Beta ,and the first Super Sentai series to time travel. It
is the second Super Sentai series to have a female Timepink is the leader of
the group.
Tensou Sentai
Goseiger is aired on TV Asahi every Sundays from February,14,2010 to
February,6=2011 that completed 50 Episodes. It is the first Super Sentai series
to introduced a villain disguised on four different empires (including the
Gedoshu Empire in Goseiger vs. Shinkenger) and will be the final boss called
Burajira,First series to introduced the card motif, first introduced different
animal powers per tribe called the headers, the third additional Sentai member
called Goseiknight is a not human but a header after Carranger's Signalman and
Boukenger's Zuban, and the third one to introduced White Pants since Dynaman
and Liveman.
