Appeal to the People (Argumentum ad Populum) and It does not follow (Non Sequitur) By Blitzwing

.

Just because a picture shows that different people  are together, that does not mean its either they  support each other etc.  One does not simply say anything at 1st glance without uncovering what is underneath and just to make sure do it more than once. So here's the definition of Argumentum ad Populum and Non Sequitur:

Argumentum ad Populum - a fallacious argument that  concludes that a proposition is true because many or most people believe it. "If many believe so, it is so."

Non Sequitur - a conclusion or statement that does not logically  follow from the previous argument or statement.

Let's make an example of this picture as a Argumentum ad Populum.

It was said by someone we knew that Super Sentai Supports Power Rangers when they 1st saw that picture.(Which we believe as Non Sequitur due to the Picture/ Argumentum ad Populum). Hence, Just because cast from Zyuranger and MMPR are together, It doesn't follow that SS supports PR.

But, when we watched the show Uncensored Talk with Karan Ashley. Are they really giving support to their show or just answering some questions from fans based in the U.S. ?

Here's what we got when watching the interview:

Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVLyQxFvg2M

The questions came from Facebook Fans, Karan Ashley and Austin St.John. Here are some of them. How they got themselves to audtion that landed them the roles? What is there most unforgetable experience on their season? What is the schedule of their Work and how long is the shooting?Did they train for Martial Arts before auditions?

On how I see it. It's also possible due to the release of Shout Out Factory DVD of Zyuranger in the U.S. that 3 of the  casts members (Reiko Chiba, Takumi Hashimoto and Seiju Umon) went to the U.S. when they got invited for the Lexington Convention and Uncensored Talk. (It's hitting 2 birds with 1 stone).

As I watch further. There was no mention that they are promoting anything. It was just purely business for Fans Sake (Super Sentai Fans to be exact True), they have similarities on their experiences when they started their respective shows. But, just because they use the same gear that doesn't make them one and the same. If your in doubt in what I said here. It is shown on the interview around 10:10  "How did you feel about the American Version of your character is a Girl?" Takumi Hashimoto said " I'm kinda surprised. It's difficult to compare its kind of different styles. Yet, It's really cool." Karan Ashley also added "It's different shows totally." Bottomline. It's all about Business. There was no mention that Super Sentai Support Power Rangers. But, both shows support their respective Fan Base in the U.S.

Bottomline, Its all for the Fans. After watching the interview, there was no mention that SS supports PR. I don't know why others think it that way after seeing the picture of Karan Ashley and Austin St. John with Reiko Chiba, Takumi Hashimoto and Seiju Umon doing the Change Sequence together.

Super Sentai is, and will always be great. But it doesn't need to bash on Power Rangers and the people who enjoy it. I'm pretty sure both shows can stand on their own. People have the right to have opinions that are different from your own. Just deal with it. No one is forcing you to watch Power Rangers, anyway.
