Sentai Actor's Wife's Disgust Over The Researchers Of Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (By Guyferd20)

       In my recent browsing on the internet,I read that there is a certain controversy on the Philippine Tokusatsu Community. The controversy was about the unprofessional attitude of some researchers about setting an interview on some sentai actors. Mrs. Georgette Anne Inaba who happened to be the wife of Red Mask actor Ryosuke Kaizu expressed her disgust towards the treatment that they received on the researchers of the program Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho. According to her, the researchers did not gave her a clear notifications on the planned interview. The lack of notification caused inconvenience to the other actors who were busy on their schedule. The following posts show how disgusted she is on the unprofessional treatment that they received from the researchers.

        As a tokusatsu fan my self, i would like to express some point of view regarding this matter. I totally understand why Mrs. Inaba was very disgusted. The Japanese people were very particular with schedule and time. If you are going to fix an appointment with them, you should come in time. The Japanese were very professional in terms of appointments. They are always doing straight business. As what the post express, the researchers brought inconvenience to the Japanese sentai actors. Most of these actors are now retired in acting and are now living in the comforts of their privacy. Despite that, they express their willingness to show their fans their appreciation for the support that they are continually giving to them. And that is where the problem comes in. They are willing to have an interview for free yet the researchers failed to provide convenience to the actors regarding the schedule of the planned interview. The thing is that their other important appointments got interrupted. That is very unprofessional to do for the researchers of a respected program.

        Another thing i want also to point out is on how Philippine media shows little respect to the tokusatsu genre. In many documentaries they are making, they are often lacking information and sometimes inaccurate. Like for example, the character of Mr. Ryosuke Kaizu who is Red Mask. Instead of properly addressing his character as Red Mask, his character is called Red Man. Red Man is another character in the tokusatsu world completely different from Red Mask. 

       Despite the incident, there is still a good thing that came out of it. It showcased how passionate the Philippine Tokusatsu Fans on their fandom. Many fans show their support to Mr. Kaizu's family and the other tokusatsu actors.It also showcased that despite some bad aspects of the Filipino attitude was shown, there are still people that chose to do the right thing.

        One final statement in behalf of the tokusatsu fans. We are on your back Mrs. Inaba and we will support you anyway we can.
