I just read for a rTokusatsu fan. regarding for his response for criticizing Power Rangers ruin Super Sentai.It's really obvious ,what to see is to believe.So here's my answer on the following responses.
- If you can beat by majority? There's a reason why Saban ruins Sentai because they destroy Japanese creations by remaking and turned it into Americanized shows.If I were you I would adjust myself to familiarized Japanese shows if its thumbs up or down.
What Power Rangers does:
- Uses footage from a Sentai series and films new scenes with American actors to create a new story or adapt the Japanese story for Americans.
Can you imagine Tokusatsu fans can grab footages by downloaded videos ,It's just easy as ABC............Z:
1. Download videos from Torrents or DDL or Convert videos from Video Streaming sites.
2. Edit through the Video Editing Application ( Windows Movie Maker,Apple's Studio etc.)
3. Combined it with your video scenes from your gadget (Cellphone,Digicam and Webcam)
4.Then you can make your own video.
It's over 20 years and still grabbing footages from Super Sentai instead of creating their own.Quite stupid and Saban Didn't learn that.
What Power Rangers does NOT do:
- Uses footage and destroys any and all episodes of the Sentai
You gonna confuse in every episodes of Power Rangers series.It's a big question mark when you watch it through Quality of Standard Definition,the people in the scene (Americans are black and whites in majority),the places and the unexpected persons from Super Sentai series.There's a reason why some rip-offs shit destroy Sentai.
- Goes back in time and interrupt the filming/writing of the Sentai.
It ruins all the aspects of Super Sentai,If you can imagine from T-REX,Dragon ,then Ape just like watching the growth of Pokemons.Now the Angels turn into Pirates ,too ironic and the concept of filming and writing of Super Sentai is destroyed.
- Change anything that the original Sentai did, does currently, or will ever do in the future.
Please use common sense people.
There changing the exact motif of Super Sentai series for American viewers .So do you think that all of International shows around the world should be Americanized just for US viewers and around the world.Then you make a dirty competition of yours.Through the American Superiority Mentality they make their own entertainment industry to become dominate like a bunch of angels fighting for the planet earth and there are only saviors from destruction.They also inferioritized all the international shows and promoting their cheapness,weird thing or any foul that didn't please the American way.
EDIT: For those brave enough, try this experiment at home:
Watch an episode of a Power Rangers season that has been adapted from your favorite Sentai. (EX: Samurai, RPM, Jungle Fury, MMPR)
Now watch an episode of the Sentai you picked. (Shinkenger, Go-onger, Gekiranger, Zyuranger)
If your enjoyment has been unaffected or if you have gained respect for the adaption, then congratulations, you are a sane person!
If you feel like your enjoyment has been decreased and/or still feel like your show has been forever ruined… then please stop watching and find a show that you think will never be ruined by another form of media (subs, dubs, adaptations, remakes, etc.).
You don't need to tell all persons to do this because the majority gonna tell you ,why Americans grab and adapt ehem RIP-OFF all the international shows to be Americanized,just for the protection of their nationalism.Power Rangers is now a laughing stock for the stupidity of Saban together with the stupid concept.Even Japanese fans have a response on Akibaranger for the misaknowledgement of Super Sentai.

Power Rangers was not always Rip-Off quality as it is today, the older years did in fact do a lot of original and preferable stuff. Saban Just Needs to Fire Johnathan Tzachor--as he's the root of the problem with his laziness, and as producer the crap trickles on down--Hire better actors (Or Hell, ACTUAL ACTORS INSTEAD OF GODDAMN MODELS), and Hire Writers who can write worth a damn; preferably while respecting the source material Like they used to. Then we wouldn't have a show that is seen as So Damn Insulting to all sides.
and the Worse of that, ONLY MEGAFORCE/SUPER MEGAFORCE is the only Series that Did't Match GOSEIGER and GOKAIGER theme XD hahahaha.., i'd rather watch GOSEIGER and GOKAIGER over and over again than this piece of crap :)

You made the word "grabbed" sound as if it means saban stole or downloaded sentai footates illegally.
As much as I don't like how saban ruined super sentai series by turning them into a ridiculous kids' shows.
They paid for the rights to use those sentai footages. And No. By all rights, you can't just grab videos online and make your own version of "ruining super sentai videos" then post it online or turn it into a dvd. Even if it is non-profitable.

Contrary to what some of you may think, I can safely say Sentai isn't this all-perfect phenomenon that's unfairly ignored by the 'mainstream', since were it not for Power Rangers, the mainstream you love to curse wouldn't have even cared for watching Sentai, nor Tokusatsu in general. It's the exact same for comic book fans, literary fans or video game fans-you have to take the good with the bad once a series is taken out of it's native context and transplanted into a different cultural context.
Plus, you can't really call Power Rangers a 'bootleg' since it's a legally recognised adaptation authorised by Toei. How did you think Saban got the rights to use footage from every Sentai series after Zyuranger? Think about this; Power Rangers started in 1993, which is about 12 years before the advent of downloading video files in 2005. So at the time, importing foreign footage was next-to-nigh impossible. Now try editing said footage by splicing it and inserting American-made footage [something that was not new and had been done several times with the Godzilla and Ultraman franchise]. So by that logic, he couldn't have bootlegged it via illegal means back then, could he? He would've needed to purchase the footage by legal means.
Since you are most likely a purist, why not watch the original show in it's original native language? Wouldn't dubbing it in different languages also 'ruin the series' because some cultures may not understand the cultural context and mythology present in tokusatsu, let alone Sentai? Even subbing it wouldn't fully convey the original narrative's 'brilliant' meaning.
And on one final note; should anyone could likely respond to this message, may I suggest they try using words other than neutard or fagtard? Try using more original insults, or presenting an original argument other than 'you're a bootleg fan' or 'you're unenlightened' like it's the fucking Second Coming. It'll help you in the long run.
