Welcome to Tokusatsu  Primetime Flashback 80's editon as we featured previous timeslots of your favorite Tokusatsu shows.This time would be the last featured for the end of the 80's decade on IBC 13.

                             
According to some information I gathered,it is confirmed that Hikari Sentai Maskman is the last Tokusatsu series aired in the 1980's from 1989-2000.This is one of the most favorites of Batang 80's and 90's.This series is unforgettable with the love team of Michael Joe and Rio,the Aura Power,the fighting styles and of course Master Sugata.

Maskman aired on ABS-CBN every Saturday afternoon at 5 pm when it transferred from IBC in 1990, both this & Shaider were taken off in 1991 when it transferred to IBC. By the way, ABS-CBN aired Maskman between 1990 & 1991.

Maskman was also aired in Brazil, on Rede Manchete TV channel, more or less the same years as in Philippines. There was also a recall in 1999 on the same TV channel. Prior Sentai Series were aired on the same channel such as Flashman and Changeman, the latter being the most successful here.

I really like the Aura Power theme, it reminds of Saint Seiya :)
