Not all Tokusatsu series only depends on henshin heroes,but also includes pilots or operators of different powerful machines.I just remember Daimos before on this series composed of 26 episode which is aired from 1974-1975.Super Robot Mach Baron is one of the series called the live-action mecha category in the 70's.Nowadays Tokusatsu series only depends on Super Sentai and Kamen Rider Franchise.But in the 70's there are bunch of Henshin heroes while Ultraman and Kamen Rider dominates the era.There are shoujo and shonen type such as henshin heroes,magicians,super giants and robo pilots.Super Robot Mach Baron is one of the best series show the realistic feature of a mecha series and anyway it is the first foundations of the Super Sentai series later.
