Tokusatsu Primetime Flashback #5:SBN 21 Afternoons 1994

 

Here's another Tokusatsu Primetime Flashback  as we refresh our memories on the previous Tokusatsu primetime blocks in th 90's and 2000's. As we featured for today,here's the Japanese Star Wars version aired on the defunct SBN 21.

 This is the Japanese version of Star Wars during its popularity in 1977.It is aired on SBN 21 every Saturdays at 5:00-6:00 pm.This is originally movie,but divided by either 10 or 15 minutes just to have longer episodes.This is aired from January to March 1994,only a short time after it was ended on Black Saturday of 1994.

If you want to refresh your minds about this series,this series is entitled "Uchū kara no Messēji" or in English " Message from Space" features two Tokusatsu heroes who save the entire space from evil,together with their friend a Chewbacka alien look-a-like.Their just like the first Space Sheriff before Gavan and others.It is originally filmed in 1978 for almost 105 minutes.
