TOEI who created wonderful Tokusatsu Franchise such as Super Sentai and Kamen Rider start a new project that will be featured previous tokusatsu actors entitled “HERO NEXT.” to feature the new side of young Toku actors. The first film in this project would be entitled “PIECE ~Kioku no Kakera~” that would be played by Shu Watanabe who played Eiji Hino/Kamen Rider OOO and Ryosuke Miura/Shingo Izumi/Ankh.Watanabe plays as a camera reporter while Miura plays the cameraman.The movie is a science-fiction suspense story.
The new project would be different from the previous films.It is called "showdown of acting abilities." according to Shinichiro Shirakura a TOEI television producer and head of filming studio.Now we can see their other side of acting aside their portray in a Tokusatsu series.
The HERO NEXT movie series will feature different Tokusatsu actors from Toei to show themselves about different characters portray aside being a Tokuhero or other casts.“PIECE ~Kioku no Kakera~” would be released this November 21 in DVD.
