Now for our Tokusatsu Primetime Flaschback for today as we feature the three Retro Tokusatsu Heroes in the 60's and the 70's aired on ABS-CBN for the whole day of Saturdays from 1991 to 1994. 2 series from mornings and 1 for the afternoon slot. So let's get started.
The first Tokusatsu franchise is first aired in Saturday morning at 10:00 am from 1991 to 1993,This series is the first Ultraman series aired in our country after it succeeded by Ace,Tiga,Dyna,Gaia,Nexus and Max.I'm just remember this kind of organization investigating alien invaders and fight those raging gigantic monsters who threatened the world.
Koseidon is the next on the black,it was aired every Saturdays at 10:30 am from 1992-1994.This series is just like Ultraman ,but he's not a giant,and fights evil forces in the dinosaur world where they lived.They have a headquarters investigating some evil villains who want to have a chaos in the dinosaur world.His henshin sequence can activate through a machine inside their base,just like Tomica Rescue Force did.This Orange hero for me also the foundation of rescue uniforms,isn't it???
MagmaMan also known as Fireman in Japanese is aired every Saturday at 5:30-6:00 pm wayback 1991-1993.His henshin device is only a simple spoon until he transformed into MagmaMan.His fighting skills and power were only the same to Ultraman.There are different gigantic heroes aside from him,but not aired in our country.After I watch this ,I'm directly tune-in to IBC 13 to watch Maskman and Shaider.
