This Christmas season ,I will feature the Tokusatsu of the Month this December,The best Super Sentai series for me this 2000's the Engine Sentai Go-onger.This series is just like a tribute for the 20 years of Chonjyuu Sentai Liveman,where the concept starts with Red,Blue and Yellow;follow by Black and Green;and added another members which has the concept of Metal Heroes,Gold and Silver.
This show is a totally comedic in every episode I watch.The theme was focus in ecology,environmental concerns and featuring the monsters related to different kinds of pollution.The characters was just simple but totally strong in terms in fighting even they are not well trained.
Among the trio-team characters such as Sun Vulcan,Liveman,Hurricanger,Abaranger and Gekiranger,they are the best characters played ,but to early for the additional two,which has also the same as them.The only Neutralizer on the series was the Go-on Wings where 2 siblings with mental telepathy was added,just because they are totally serious in every mission they have.
This mecha is the easiest to combine among the all mechas in a Super Sentai series.Starts with the primary robot called Engine-Oh where Go-on Red,Blue and Yellow engines combined;then Gunbir-Oh where Go-on Black and Green engines,including the Orange engine Carrigator combined;Seiku-Oh when Gold and Silver engines,including Jumbowhale combined (Air Vehicle Combination)and; Kyuuretsu-Oh where the three legendary engines combined(Passenger Train Combination).
The combination was totally cool,the first one was Engine G6 where the 6 engines combined into one which is composed of Engine-Oh and Gunbir-Oh,It will level-up into Engine G9 if they add Seiku-Oh ; and they more upgrade into Engine G-12 if they add Kyuuretsu-Oh which is the ultimate mecha combination of Go-onger which also creates in the Super Sentai History.The four Engine robots can combine also in Engines being an Armament.
The different worlds featured in Go-onger is make the series more fun to watch.For Example the Samurai World in the Movie,where they battle different demonic monsters,they return in this world in Shinkenger vs. Go-onger.This concept is used in their successor Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.Christmas world is also one of the best episodes where different Santas with Christmas Magic featured.The Junk world also features where and old lady test the Go-onger how to take care those wasted and consumed Non -Biodegradable materials
I already finished the whole series,but I'm still watching the best episodes of Engine Sentai Go-onger just to refresh those different episodes.Until now it is totally remarkable series in Sentai History,including my favorite character Go-on Yellow.So 13 days to go before the 2012 comes.ADVANCED MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU.
