Tokusatsu of the Month This October:Hikari Sentai Maskman

So it's nice to bring back the Tokusatsu of the Month again. So let's get started about our featured Tokusatsu series for this October 2011 the ultimate cult classic of the 90's the Hikari Sentai Maskman.

Aside from Bioman,Goranger and Jak Q during the 80's,it is one of the best classical superhero series. This series is focused on Martial Arts,Meditation and Aura Power. The influence of Aura power in the show influence kids to define about the significance of meditation and familiarize the meaning of Martial Arts. From 1989 to 2000 when it's aired on IBC Channel 13,some toy advertisements release and it becomes a big hit to our country during that time.

The one of the secret formula on this series was the love story between Takeru (Michael Joe)an earthling and Miu (Rio) an underground princess.Their story was so touching even they are split up on the end of the series. This series is not also catchy for children but all ages.

Their team is an all-star martial artist combat against underground monsters and the powerful Zeba. The team is composed of Red Mask/Takeru (Karate),Black Mask/Kenta (Aikido),Blue Mask/Akira (Wushu),Yellow Mask/Haruka(Ninjitsu) and Pink Mask/Momoko (TaiChi).Their Master Sugata introduced them the Aura power after they quit the Racing club to focus on saving the world.

The devilish empire also include the lone knight Thief Knight Kiros the tough one and in the end he finished by an accident.Igam the elder sister of Miu is one of the villain which Takeru has been challenged how he love Miu.This empire for me is one of the most evil and scary among the Kaijins.

The series has also been completed including the movie special. As of now I must found the hard copy of Tagalog dub version and familiarize it to the original copy. The Tagalized version were sang by Bodjie's Law of Gravity ,as you remember their remarkable lyrics and their voices. As for now it was aired on Hero Channel to bring back memories.

Nowadays it was always in the hearts of both Toku and Non-Toku fans during their childhood days in the 90's.Up until now they create some tributes on the show including their song and dance numbers,How Nostalgic.
