There's a new rumor for the next Super Sentai series,the theme would be "Youkai".According from dukemon 22 of Tokuinsider blog the rumor titled would be:
"Hyaki Sentai Hidenjya". (Lit. Hundred Stranges Taskforce Mystery Ranger)
The word sounds like Hakyujuu Sentai Gaoranger.I think the concept would be also similar to Shinkenger and Kakuranger which is battling against the Youkai,but now it is between Youkai vs. Youkai..
"Hyaki" is a pun on Hyakki Yakou (100 Demon Night parade) from folklore.
If you're a fan of Anime Inuyasha,Otome Youkai Zankuro or any youkai theme.It's sure you will watch this kind of show.which I think it is more cuter.
The rangers are, as stated:
Red- Kyuubi (9 tailed fox)
Yellow- Nekobake/Bakeneko (a monster cat, not necessarily a two-tailed cat, which is a nekomata)
Blue- Yatagara/Yatagarasu (a 3-legged crow that appears in many Asian mythologies)
Again,another trio tag team would be line-up for the next series similar to Hurricanger after Gaoranger and Gekiranger after Boukenger,which means after the anniversary series finished they start this kind of concept again to refresh the new generations of Super Sentai.
