According from different sources Akiko has falling down while Terui badly injured his leg to get in time,until Aoi grabs the Gaia Memory Enhancing Adapter from the Commander Dopant to give to Terui.All I can say about the image was Accel receives an upgrade form which is different from Trial which is focus only in speed and time.It looks like this form is focus on armour and attack features.
